Bikepackia charges only for AI. Planning on the map, routing, stages, stops and GPX export are free. Mec, the AI route partner, spends credits on each reply. Every new account gets €2 of credit when it first signs in. Credit is shown in euros.

- Building and editing routes on the map.
- Splitting into day stages, map layers and searching for stops.
- Importing and exporting GPX.
- Saving and sharing routes (with a free account).
Spends credit
- Mec's replies. The cost depends on how much work a reply takes: a short answer costs less than planning a whole multi-day trip.
- Small AI tasks that run for you, such as naming a Mec conversation, or summarising the chat when you save a route planned with Mec.

Credit is sold at face value: you pay €9 and get €9 of credit. Buying credit isn't open yet. The packs are marked "coming soon" and you can ask to be notified. Until then, every account has its welcome credit.

Is Bikepackia free?
Planning, stages, stops and GPX export are free. Only Mec, the AI route partner, uses credit, and new accounts get €2 to start.
Can I buy more credits?
Not yet. Credit packs (Starter €9, Pro €19) are coming soon. You can still plan by hand for free once your welcome credit is used.
Is there a subscription?
No. There's no subscription. You only spend credit when you use Mec.
