EUROVELO · THE EUROPEAN NETWORK

Cycle a continent, one route at a time.

EuroVelo is a web of 17 long-distance routes stitched across Europe — signed, mapped and rideable from a North Cape lighthouse to a Mediterranean beach. Pick a country, pick a line, and we'll plan the rest.

Why EuropeA continent built for the bike

The whole continent is set up to ride.

A network, not a trail

Seventeen EuroVelo routes cross and connect, so trips link end to end. Ride one line, switch to another at a river city, keep going for a weekend or a season.

A train to every trailhead

Europe's dense rail makes car-free logistics the norm. Roll the bike onto a regional train, start where the last trip ended, take the sleeper home.

Resupply every few kilometres

Villages, bakeries, fountains and small hotels punctuate the route. You're rarely more than an hour from water, food and a bed — light packing, real comfort.

Every terrain in a day

Atlantic dunes, canal towpaths, vineyard hills and alpine cols sit within a short ride of each other. Choose the landscape; the network already goes there.

The range

From a flat weekend to a wild month.

The same network carries a family on a towpath and a loaded bikepacker over a col. Tell the planner where you sit on each scale and it draws to match.

The country that cycles

Nowhere is denser. A nationwide numbered-junction (knooppunten) grid links every EuroVelo, so you build a route by stitching numbers — flat, paved, signed to the metre.
